Conversational English

This is a class for Internationals. The books of Genesis & Exodus will be used for the basis of conversation and discussion. (Rm. 105)

Every Man's Battle
Every Man’s Battle (Eric Lockhart, 432-1376)

The subtitle of this book is “Winning the War on Sexual Temptation One Victory at a Time.”  This is study is for men and it teaches about sexual purity, but not just sexual purity, purity in all aspects of our lives.  It is an 8 week study.  Coming to this study is not admitting that you have sexual impurity in your life, but it is admitting that you want to know God’s standard of purity in every aspect of your life, including sex.  (Room 102)

This is a continuation of a DVD study from last semester on our foundational beliefs. Through the fall we will be studying what we believe about Good and Evil, Sanctification and The Afterlife. We will also discuss how our beliefs practically make a difference in our lives. (Fellowship Hall)

University Class
University & Twenty-Something’s Class (John & Anita Cory,Ric & Lisa Schumacher, Bernie & Paige Van Wie, Marc & Debbi Weller)

A class for university students and young adults. They will be studying completing a study called “God in the Middle,” which is focused on keeping God at the center of our lives and relationships. (Fellowship Hall)

This study will challenge Christians to expand their personal and transforming faith into a public and transforming relationship with the poor. The stories, Scripture and statistic recounted will inspire the group to see God’s heart for the poor and respond with wholehearted obedience to a complete gospel.
